(01/21/2026) - Disciple of the Madman released

Disciple of the Madman is the latest release by Orka. 19 new levels are featured (16 regular and 3 secret) as well as a myriad of graphics, music and sounds taken from various sources. An excessive credit list has been bundled with the mod.

(01/12/2026) - The Golden Parrot Patch 2.3 released

Fraggeur has released patch 2.3 of his Golden Parrot mod which cane out in 2019. This patch includes:

- You can riposte after a parry, gaining 15 damage points with the cutlass
- Inter-level texts
- The blunderbuss gains 10 minimal damage points and less penalty at mid range
- A game manual in PDF format is included in the game files
- A screenshot is now associated to the saved games

A quickly done set of maps by various authors who tried to confuse Atina as much as possible to win a plush dolly. Some maps are more normal than others, some are real mazes, some are hardcore and some are just crazy. Play at your own risk.

(09/19/2025) - T2 Phase 1 released

Here's the latest release from Thomas. This one features 30 brand-new levels in the Episode 1-3 vein, but using an EXE by Chris Chokan that allows for way more enemies and static objects and a lot more, based on the Wolf3d 1.1 version. There are a lot of pushwalls and things like holowalls and objects. Go and see for yourself.

After having done various Wolf3d gameplay videos on his YouTube Channel, Death Knight Adrian has created his first Wolf3D mod for the shareware version. This mod can be seen as a crossover of Heretic and World of Warcraft.
10 new levels are featured. No code changes. Most graphics, sounds and music have been replaced.

(08/14/2025) MacenWolf news

Here's a message from one of the MacenWolf developers:

It has come to our attention that one of the recent Windows updates breaks compatibility with the latest version of MacenWolf. We have no idea why, and since our only coder (Nex) does not have Windows 11 in the first place, determining the root cause is going to be extremely difficult.

That's why I can only have one piece of advice for people who currently struggle with the issue: download the 1.26 patch and apply it to your MacenWolf installation. You will lose a chunk of modding capabilities only introduced in the most recent versions, but you'll be able to play the main game and pretty much every port, and the game should remain largely bug-free.

I'll let you know whenever we can offer a more satisfactory resolution of the issue.

Cabo Fiambre has released a 3-level mappack for the Wolfenstein 3D The Second Encounter mod made by Wolf3dGuy in 2020. The set stays true to the vanilla Wolf3d style, only a few graphics have been replaced.

(07/10/2025) - Vladko's remake of SOD Haven Style Ultra Hardcore version released

Vladko has released his remake of the Spear of Destiny Haven Style hardcore version from 2010. The layout of the levels is basically the same, but the amount of enemies has been increased to a level that isn't even remotely fair. For DieHard Wolfers only.

Furthermore, we have added the entire MacenWolf mod catalog to our collection.

MacenWolf is a sourceport for Wolfenstein 3D. The goal of this project is to bring all of the Wolfenstein 3D mods ever made for the Macintosh computer over to the Windows PC. More than 300 mods have been ported so far.

You will find the mods following the links in the MacenWolf section at the bottom left hand corner of any mod download page, like this.
